Cell Scanning

For T-series products, it is possible to read a snapshot of the cell neighbourhood seen by the connected modem.

To do this, go to the Commands menu on StellaControl and choose Cell Scan command. When the device receives the command, it will upload a file containing the details of the serving tower, and list of the neighbouring towers, in order of suitability.

You can view the results from previous scans by going to the Files page on StellaControl, and filtering by your device serial number.

Note that this information is dependent on the cellular data connection used by the modem at the current time. Most importantly, if the device has not connected to StellaControl via LTE, then no LTE stations will be shown.
