Titan Devices
Explains all aspects of Titan devices
SHUTDOWN LIMITS
Titan Repeater
Near Shutdown: 35 ( We flash the red LED here to warn the user) Shutdown: 40 (Red LED turns off. All LEDS turn off.
Titan LineAmp
Near Shutdown: 18 (We flash the red LED here to warn the user) Shutdown: 25
Clamp an Feedback
The only way for Clamp to happen on the TItan is for there to be a valid Feedback situation.
Ship mode
For Titans Ship mode has no effect.
Internal battery
There is no internal battery with the Titans. If mains is plugged out, the Titan will loose its connection and an alert will log.
Rebalance
All Titans (repeaters and lineamps) auto rebalance every 24hrs
Automatice software reboot
Titans all automatically reboot every 3 days. If the Titan is started up on 13:15 Monday, for example, it will automaticlly reboot 3 days later, at 13:15 Thursday, and so on, every 3 days.
Telit restart mechanism
Operator network registration is the first failure that will trigger a modem restart. Shutdown time, restart time, plus registration timeout adds up to approx. 240 seconds. In the event of no network service, the modem will restart at a period of at least 240 seconds. Once a data connection is established, MQTT Ping messages are sent every 28 minutes. If a ping is not answered within 10 s, the modem is resarted. Thus, the maximum period before loss-of-service is detected is 28 min 10 s.
Reboot timing for modem
T+ 0.000 Power rail off, OFF_ON High (if not tied low in hardware) T+ 2.500 Power rail on T+ 4.000 OFF_ON assert (=low) T+ 5.500 OFF_ON release (if not tied low in hardware) T+22.000 ± 2.000 Modem ready
Shutdown timing (OFF_ON controllable by PIC)
T+ 0.000 OFF_ON assert T+ 2.500 OFF_ON release T+16.500 Modem assumed off.
Shutdown timing (OFF_ON not controllable by PIC)

T+14.000 Modem assumed off. (edited)
